Casa de les Punxes was built by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch in 1905, under the commission of Ángela Brutau for his three daughters, Ángela, Rosa and Josefa. You will be enchanted by the beauty of the ceramics: the stained glass windows, the cast iron works and the sculptures inside, all worked by the wise hands of the most renowned Catalan modernist artisans. The main entrance of the house is at the crossroads of the Avinguda Diagonal and its importance was emphasized with the construction of two imposing circular towers. Inside, you can visit the foyer, once used for commercial purposes and built with stone arches and columns decorated with floral and abstract motifs, a executive level divided by each owner and four floors for rent, with red bricks combined in steps and stone balconies, as well as a large terrace where the servants rooms were located.
