The Cannabis Festival

Barcelona is a city with no limits to creativity, thought and initiative: the proof of this is Spannabis, the world's largest cannabis festival, which is organized just outside Barcelona, in Cornellá de Llobregat, and which in 2017 reached its fourteenth edition: from March 10 to 12.

Spannabis: The Program

Spannabis, the world's largest cannabis exhibition is the flagship of music, medical and social information and food. Among the most important events in the agenda are the "World Cannabis Conferences", which will take place in the Cornellá Auditorium. Here, experts in the fields of science, medicine and politics will discuss the effects of taking up cannabis and the consequences of its legalisation. The aim is to bring about the regularisation of marijuana on an international scale in order to solve a profound problem that many countries are experiencing. On Friday 10 and Saturday 11 March, the topics of responsible regularisation, the relationship between cannabis and women, the effects of the use of joints on sexuality, the history of reaggae and the cultural context surrounding marijuana will be discussed. The conferences are designed to be interactive and are an opportunity to address questions to the speakers and answer all the queries on this particular topic.
