Useful tips

Once you have reached the last stop on the cable car, in other words, the Montjuïc Castle, don't just stop to admire the panoramic views of the city but also make sure that you head towards the bottom right hand side and the historic cannon and make sure you see the stunning views of the port as well.  As you rise above the city, you will have the chance to admire many of the city's iconic landmarks such as the Sagrada Familia and the Torre Agbar among others.  At the end of the tour on the cable car, you can find out about what else there is to see in this area by reading our article about the neighborhood of Montjuïc. A small preview: among the many cultural gems in this particular area are the  Joan Miró Foundation, the Poble Espanyol and the Catalan Museum of National Art.
How to get there
The cable car station is located at No.30 Avinguda Miramar.  Our advice with regard to the best way of reaching the cable car station is to take the bus.  You can take either the number 55 or the number 155 and get off at the stop called Av. Miramar.  The cable car station is right in front of the entrance.
