You will also be able to walk along the inside of a panoramic tunnel which stretches for some 80 meters which will give you the impression of swimming among all the colorful and fascinating fish that specifically inhabit the Mediterranean.  Spending some time in Barcelona's aquarium will give you a real feel for this fantastic underwater kingdom which has such a rich diversity of beautiful creatures and unexpected surprises. But the entertainment doesn't finish here: you can also view the penguins as they eat their daily meal which consists of fresh fish (normally between 13:30 and 16:30).  This is an amazing venue in which to organize a birthday party for children and it is even possible to book a dive inside one of the protected cages. Barcelona's Aquarium is situated in Barceloneta on the Molo d'Espanya at Port Vell, just after the famous Maremagnum Commercial Center. In order to reach the aquarium, you can either choose to stroll along the delightful Rambla del Mar or, alternatively, walk straight through the Plaça de l'Ictineo which is at the end of Via Laietana street. If, on the other hand, you choose to use the metro, then the closest stops are Barceloneta (Yellow Line L4) or Drassanes Green Line L3).
